Holy moly friend! Remember you have friends in the Methow as well that can help in times like these. I have emailed you contact info.

Oh blimey. Well, that's a thoroughly rotten plot-twist. So very sorry to hear, sir - and hope that your recovery is fully restorative and unexpectedly productive!

Hey, thanks Mike! I'm trying to find silver linings and I think it's working. Lots of long walks with friends to practice languages or talk music, cooking up a storm for Chelsea, and leaning into a bunch of adulting stuff that is so easy to put off (caulking projects, yay!).

Still loving reading Everything is Amazing, btw. Always a pleasure to see it pop up in the Substack app---your ability to summon hilarious, insightful posts continues to wow me. Keep it up!

Friend from afar and our paths only have crossed virtually. Love reading your notes and always look forward to them. Get well, as time is what you have on your side. Remember the ground rules for healing as your luv ones care for the long haul of life sharing it with you.

Yeesh, Dakota. I'm glad you're taking everything in stride but this is some heavy stuff. I hope you continue to find joy below 110 bpm and once you have the all-clear, rediscover joy at 180bpm. Thinking of you, friend. 💜

Thanks Ben! lol my new nonprofit name: Joy Below 110bpm.

I trust you'll continue seeking joy about 180 for me in the meantime! Hope you two are doing well.
